A wildlife observation trip to the Carpathians and Baltic, two European places with a wide variety of species, for this occasion we will use different hides, one of the wildlife observation techniques, a way to get closer to animals.
This adventure is the result of joining our Poland Photo Hide and Estonia Bear Hide trips. On the one hand, live the experience of locating a hot spot and set up your own hide, and on the other hand, feel the magic of the night in a hide in the Estonian forests.
It is certainly an expedition of contrasts, the two regions that we will visit are very different from each other. The Carpathian area is mountainous, with valleys, rivers and meadows, and by contrast Estonia has a mostly flat surface and does not present great slopes.
The common denominator will be the forests, each one with its own characteristics, and it is where we will spend most of the time looking for and observing the wild fauna.
At this time of year we will focus on bears and wolves in Poland and bears in Estonia, but these two places have a large number of species, some examples:
Depending on availability, we will stay in typical Polish wooden cabins, or houses of local people. Both have rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, TV and everything you need to have a comfortable stay, as well as heating, leisure area and Wi-Fi and coverage (moderate).
Meals will be made in the accommodation and in a restaurant in the area to taste the local gastronomy. Near the accommodation there is a supermarket with everything you may need, food, drinks and hygienic material. We can go whenever is necessary.
In Estonia the first and last day we will sleep in a cabin-type house, the rest of the nights we will be in the hides. They are large hides and prepared so that you can sleep, there are individual bunk beds, spaces for photographers with their cameras and they also hace WC
Meals are not included We will go to the restaurants and bars in the area at noon and we will also buy to be able to cook at home. For the hide sessions, each one can take the snacks and drinks they want, we will go to the supermarket every day and we will be able to buy.
